Thursday? Do stuff? Fine, fine...

Okay, it's not all bad, after all, my game continues this evening.

I stayed in bed this morning later than I would have liked to. I ended up having to leave things half done before I left the house. Such as sorting out some last little bits on the download and print server I've set up for the house. It works though, which is what's impressing me most about it; mostly because I set it up. I'm going to have to stop saying I'm not hugely good at doing PC things, because I've nailed a few things in recent memory that contradict that pretty hard.

I decided to wear my hair tied back today for my trip out, this isn't really important at all, save for the fact I've never really worn my hair up for everyday things before. I've been trying to get a feel for different hairstyles, and this one feels good (and has been complimented too, which is a bonus to confidence).

Today was the day I was supposed to be having a meeting at the community centre, with the manager and a couple of others, to discuss my involvement with them in raising gender and sexuality issues within the community centre and hopefully have a bit of an impact in the community to stop it being a bit of an unfriendly place to be around. It didn't go quite that way in the end. The manager has handed me off to their volunteer manager, who, following in line with others who are connected to me through my gender problems, was not around due to being off sick. They took my phone number (I knew I should have given them that last time I was there...) and I'm waiting now until the woman in question comes back from being sick to get in touch with me.

Not the result I was hoping for...

Into town, drop off a dress at the charity shop that I'd taken away to try on (it was too small around the chest and neck) and then got some more make-up (my base coat make-ups had run out this morning) and some more dice (do I really need more?)

Back home now to prepare for my game this evening. Fun things will happen.

Just as I finished writing this, I learn that both showers in my house leak...
