I dare you to make less sense...

(I really need to remember to post things here after I post them elsewhere.)

My day...

Wake up, hit the snooze button somewhere in the region of twenty times, after number 18, slide out of bed to switch on my fan heater, after 19, slide my bra and top into the bed, and slowly dress under the covers.

Switch on my laptop and check my mail.

Receive birthday cards from family.

Get fully dressed to get driven across town for coffee and breakfast.

Do my make-up for the day, and do my nails.

Go for coffee with friend, talk about this, that and everything, relationships featuring a major part, and notice a woman's outfit there that adds a little weight to the "I want some new shoes" pile. I have some carrot cake, and then spend the following 20 minutes awkwardly trying to get a bit of it unstuck from my teeth.

Head into town, and get stopped on the way by this guy who wants my number. I'm shocked and unprepared, as I usually switch off when I go for walks, in that it took him two attempts to get me to actually realise that he wanted something. The whole thing feels so bizarre and surreal.

I shoot off into another string of thought on how I feel about relationships (not going into that here) and also wander off faintly amused by the whole situation. The subtext clearly stated that he was probably just interested in sexy times, not something I am not really in need of more offers of. It's nice I have offers, but I wish they were offers of things I want. I find it strange that people find me sexy, but, there you go.

I drop my things off at what is quickly becoming a staging post, have a 4th ed D&D convo to suggest possible classes for a new character, and surprise myself how much I picked up while doing all the first level gen yesterday.

Then move off to put a birthday cheque into the bank, and deliver a form to the government. I stop to look at shoes in a couple of shops, and also look to see if there's any reasonably priced 360's knocking about. There was neither shoes nor 360's however.

Now I wait for tonight's game, eating a large yoghurt pot, the big finale I think. Time to be heroic!
